Blue Sky Cafe in Lexington

Took a detour off the interstate for a stop here and it was well worth it. I had the blue sky grilled cheese and it was probably one of the best grilled cheeses I've had. Very unique shop.

Great location, good staff. My grilled vegetable sandwich was delicious and cooked just right on focaccia. Also reasonably priced. My wife's Caesar salad was, alas, uninspired. Lettuce, a few croutons, and dressing.

Simply the best little sandwich store in Lexington

One of my favorite places anywhere! Their tuna salad (I know, that sounds so lame, but believe me...) is a-maz-ing. The bread is all fresh baked - the focaccia in particular is outstanding. Everything here is delicious and you will not find a friendlier staff. They homemake everything - they always have a delicious soup of the day too!

Excellent sandwiches and salads. Went there for lunch on a long drive through Virginia. Was very happy with the food. We sat outside which was much nicer than inside, where there was music playing and it was crowded. I had the sante fe salad with turkey. I can't eat gluten and it was the perfect lunch, with black beans, corn, red onion, lettuce, tomato, turkey, guacamole, salsa and a really good homemade salad dressing. My dad had their speciality beef bbq sandwich and said it was excellent.

Gourmet bakery simply can't be beat! I've been a frequent diner for nearly 15 years! Loveliest local owners with talent for sweet and savory items. Can't say enough about the "Great Smoky" sandwich and Tuna Melt along with great treats including Carrot Cake and Turtle Fudge Brownie.

I had the bacon and brie focaccia which is my standard fare for this restaurant and it always delicious. This time a shared a slice of carrot cake yummy.

Delicious food served by friendly and knowledgeable staff! The focaccia was great as was the tomato soup, salads and sandwiches.

Popular local lunch place, only open weekdays. Healthy but not extensive salad and sandwich menu. Local friendly folk who take your order at the counter with a smile and helpful guidance. Seating is cozy tables in an old-fashioned room. We live not far away and will likely go back. Sandwiches were good but not awesome.
